Rep. Harris Endorses Ryan Nawrocki
Just three weeks after announcing his run for County Council, Ryan Nawrocki held a kickoff event with over 100 supporters in attendance and received a resounding endorsement from Congressman Andy Harris (MD-1).
Harris, who represents parts of Baltimore County in Congress, said, “I enthusiastically endorse Ryan Nawrocki for County Council. Ryan Nawrocki is the right person at the right time for the Sixth Councilmanic District.”
Nawrocki is running for County Council because eastern Baltimore County residents deserve a real voice and a different direction. For too long, the district has been plagued by crumbling schools, a lack of focus on creating good paying jobs and a County Council that hasn’t fought for the hard-working residents of the district.
Congressman Harris added, “Ryan is going to represent the average person waking up every day thinking about how they’re going to make ends meet, how they’re going to have a job, and how they’re going to have a safe community. That’s what Ryan is going to do for them every single day of the week.”
Nawrocki is a former official in the Administrations’ of Gov. Larry Hogan and Gov. Bob Ehrlich. Now a small business owner, he and his wife Lauren live in Middle River with their daughter Emily and sons Matthew and Luke. They are currently expecting their fourth child. Lauren is a nurse practitioner who recently completed her doctorate in nursing practice at the University of Maryland. Nawrocki is currently completing his master’s degree in public management at Johns Hopkins University.
